Stephanie Miller Shupe will proudly tell you she grew up a military brat, so she knows the value of home and how to move! While in high school, her family lived in Seoul, South Korea and she was able to explore much of Asia. After earning a B.A. in Communication Arts back in the States, she worked as a graphic designer in the DC Metro area, Pinehurst, NC, finally settling in Jefferson County, West Virginia in 2006. The skills honed as a graphic designer converting complex information into easily understood visuals — listening, creative thinking, problem solving, project management, and attention to detail — help Stephanie serve clients well as a REALTOR® who can think outside the box.
After renting for a few years as a young adult, Stephanie was encouraged to invest in her own home. That fantastic first-time home buyer experience comes to mind each time she helps a buyer navigate the road to home ownership. Stephanie combines her administrative, real estate, and marketing experience to nurture a cooperative, comprehensive partnership with each of her clients. Her goal is to make every client, whether a first-time buyer or a 5th time seller, have a positive experience and feel like they have made strong decisions along the way. The look of accomplishment and joy in a client’s eyes when they get the keys to their new home is a reward unlike any other.
When Stephanie learned The National Association of REALTORS® offers Military Relocation Professional certifications, she jumped at the chance to give back to the community she grew up in and earned her certification in 2014. Stephanie loves calling the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia home and its beauty that spills into Virginia, where she has also been licensed since 2018.
Stephanie has raised two sons – a mechanical engineer and a musician – to be fine human beings and they are the center of her universe. Stephanie spends her creative energy on home renovation, gardening, quilting, drawing and printmaking. She enjoys being outside, road trips and cold beer – and if you can combine all three, that’s a home run in her book.
