Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association (LRPRA) is a planned unit development community nestled along the southern bank of the Occoquan River Reservoir in Prince William County, Virginia. This family friendly community is known for its beautiful woodland setting and has been established for almost 50 years.
In 1969, Ridge Development Corporation, along with the late Kenneth Thompson, developed what was once a remote cluster of homes into today’s planned community of Lake Ridge. On March 29, 1972, with its Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions recorded in Prince William County, Virginia, the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association was established.
The community is set on 4,700 acres of common ground with 1,200 acres maintained by the Association, consisting of 7,278 property units that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, 2 apartment complexes and commercial properties.
Enjoy a beautifully landscaped 9-hole golf course or a day of fishing at Lake Ridge Golf & Marina. Relax while taking in the magnificent views of the Occoquan Reservoir by renting a kayak, canoe, pedal boat, or stand up paddle board. You can also hike one of the trails found on the 74-acre property. Seasonal activities and programs are offered throughout the year. Use the grills, pavilion, and playground to host your next family reunion or get together.
